THE 2018 EDITION OF THE IMDG CODE DOES ENTER INTO FORCE EARLY

With the Circular n. 35/2019 on Dangerous Goods, the Ministry of Transport has established the earlier entry into force from September 1st 2019 of the amendment 39/18 of the IMDG Code; the entry into force was previously set on January 1st 2020.

Many important news have been introduced, such as the replacement of the text “risk” with “danger”, the creation of new segregation groups, and the update of the list of dangerous goods (DGL) with the insertion of new UN numbers, many of them relating to the “articles containing dangerous goods”.
